How to Undo an Accidental Z-Reading from Head Office

If a Z-Reading was processed accidentally and the user can no longer log back in to the POS terminal, the Z-Reading can be reversed using the Undo Z-Reading function in Head Office.

Before You Proceed

Make sure that:

  • The device has a stable internet connection.
  • You have verified the correct Terminal Number.
  • You can check the Terminal Number directly on the POS Login Screen before proceeding.

Steps

  1. Check the POS Login Screen and take note of the Terminal Number.
  2. Log in to Head Office.
  3. Go to Setup.
  4. Open Terminal Master.
  5. Locate and select the same Terminal Number shown on the POS Login Screen.
  6. Click Options.
  7. Click Undo Z-Reading.
  8. Once completed, try logging in to the affected POS terminal again.

⚠️ Important Warning

Always verify the Terminal Number on the POS Login Screen before clicking Undo Z-Reading.

Undoing the Z-Reading of the wrong terminal may affect its transaction and Z-Reading data and may cause data issue.

Also, make sure there is a stable internet connection throughout the process so the changes can synchronize properly.

If you are unsure which terminal to select, do not proceed with Undo Z-Reading until the correct Terminal Number has been confirmed.
